Captain Kyle Fultz is an American with 26 years of professional yachting experience, and 21 years as a licensed Captain. He has captained the previous and current Kismet for the last 9 years, and was fortunate to have the great opportunity of working through the design and build of the current Kismet. Kyle has navigated many of the world's waterways, but mainly prides himself on keeping a safe, world-class yacht, with a competent and motivated crew ready for the challenges and pleasures of hosting guests. First Officer David Western hails from Canada. Dave is a licensed captain with 11 years in yachting, 3 of them aboard Kismet! He also has a valuable 7 years experience in the Canadian Navy as a Navigational Officer. Dave is in charge of meeting all of Kismet's safety and security requirements, his high standards for both are appreciated and necessary. Head Chef James Wallace is a classically trained chef with 7 years experience in Michelin starred restaurants in Sydney and London - London's River Cafe and Le Gavroche to name a few. Sourcing great produce and cooking food of the highest standard is a passion for James and he strives to make Kismet's cuisine unforgettable fare. Sous Chef Nathaniel Cox hails from Australia and is a trained pastry chef with a fresh fusion twist. He recently worked at Cradle Mountain Lodge, voted Gourmet Traveler's Best Resort. Let him bake your birthday cake! Masseuse/Beauty Therapist - Kismet employs a full-time well-trained therapist aboard for our guest's pleasure and relaxation needs. Purser Gerry Fultz, an Australian native, has worked in tandem with her husband Captain Kyle aboard yachts for many years. Gerry has varied duties: from fiscal responsibilities, to general oversight of interior operations, shore liaison, and human resources. When guests are aboard Kismet concierge duties are the main concern - no request too large. Kismet's British Chief Stewardess Karen O'Hara is qualified in Interior and Spatial Design. Karen has been with Kismet for 8 years, rising through the ranks with hard-work and dedication from Junior Stewardess to Chief. In her management of the interior crew, a spotless ship is always a priority. Her table and floral arrangements are first-rate, as is her professionalism, warmth, and attention to guest service and satisfaction. Stewardess Casey Fontenet has been aboard Kismet for over a year and her energy and commitment saw her quickly promoted to 2nd Stewardess. Casey's previous restaurant and cocktail waitress experience is an asset aboard Kismet and she is eager to learn and progress further in the yachting industry Stewardess Ryann McMillan has a Bachelor's degree in Communications and speaks French fluently. She has worked as a waitress, a line-cook, and an Executive and Personal Assistant. She is efficient, detail-orientated and loves to entertain, offering first-class service and bringing much cheer and humor to her position. Stewardess Nicole La Forge is a sunny, always-smiling Californian with a degree in Romance Languages - she is fluent in French and Spanish. Kismet is Nicole's first yacht, but her previous employ in a high-end dining establishment and as a barista and tasting room manager enhances the guest experience aboard. Wade Stubbs is the Chief Engineer from Australia's East Coast. Wade is a graduate of the Australian Maritime College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His considerable engineering talents and even-temperament make him a valued crew-member. Paul Byrnes is Kismet's 2nd Engineer. Paul is a trained outboard mechanic and has worked on other high profile yachts. He can be relied upon to keep Kismet fully and safely operational. British Bosun Stuart Hayward was one of Kismet's original crew-members starting as Sous-Chef. He decided his interests were on the deck and moved outside. After 2.5 years on Kismet's deck Stuart now has his 200 Ton Yachtmaster and has been promoted to Bosun. He takes great pride in running the deck crew professionally and keeping Kismet in pristine show condition at all times. Deckhand Jonathan Hopps is British and a qualified hair-stylist who has recently made the change from the salon to the yachting world. Jon's enthusiasm and energetic good spirits are infectious and greatly enhance Kismet's ambience, and he's happy to give you a trim too! Deckhand Ryan Calder is a New Zealander with a Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology. He is a qualified Life Guard and an experienced Water Ski and Wake Board Instructor. Friendly and out-going, he enjoys teaching others to how to have a great time on the water. Justin Heal brings useful skills gained from spending his life around boats to Kismet's deck. Justin is an experienced and able boat handler with a calm, pleasant nature and several years experience aboard yachts. As a deckhand aboard Kismet he hopes to get more sea-time and eventually captain a yacht. Geoff Fashjian recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Kismet is his first yacht, so he is starting at the top and learning the ropes and discipline of a sea-faring life from the bottom.
